Most calling apps connect you to someone you cannot understand. MPower Space translates the conversation out loud, sentence by sentence, in 57 languages — on free calls between MPower users and on paid calls to ordinary phone numbers.
How it works on a call
Speak normally
Talk in your own language at a normal pace, finish your sentence, and pause.
The sentence is translated
Your speech is recognised and converted into the other person's language on our servers.
They hear it spoken
The translation is played aloud to them a second or two after you stop speaking.
Their answer comes back
The same happens in reverse, so you hear their reply in your own language.
Two ways to use it
Calls between MPower users
Each side sets their own language once. On a call, everyone hears the conversation in their own language automatically — there is nothing to switch on while you are talking.
Calls to ordinary phone numbers
Before you dial, pick the language of the person you are calling. They do not need the app, an account or a smartphone — they simply answer their phone.
What to expect
It is a conversation aid, not a certified interpretation service. For legal, medical or contractual matters, use a qualified human interpreter.
- Translation is spoken after each sentence, so there is a natural pause of a second or two before the other person hears you.
- Short, clear sentences work best. Speak the way you would to someone you have just met.
- Speech is processed on our servers and by the AI service we use to translate it — it is not an on-device feature.

Call family who do not speak the language you use at work, and stop relying on whoever in the house can translate.

Give instructions to a driver, a nurse, a technician or a housekeeper and actually hear the answer, in your own language.

You choose your language once in Settings, and the full list of the 57 we support is shown there. For a call to an ordinary number, you choose the other side's language in the same place, before you dial.
The call translates itself while you talk
You speak normally in your own language. After each sentence, MPower Space speaks your words aloud to the other person in theirs — and their answer comes back to you in yours. 57 languages, on the call, with nothing for the other person to install.
